How It Feels to Be a Teacher for an Entire Day

Many people think that a teacher's day starts at 8:00 or 9:00 AM and ends around 3:00 PM when the kids go home. Little do they know! According to a survey in the Washington Post by the chief academic officer for Scholastic, teachers actually work an average of 53 hours a week... AVERAGE! That doesn't even include the hours we spend in our free time prepping and looking for new ideas! Step inside our shoes for a day, this is just a sneak preview of how it feels...
6:00 AM (if you're lucky) - Open your eyes and contemplate life for a moment in bed...

It ends 4:00 pm but I usually go home 6:30 pm.. I have more than 12 hours at school
Oh so true, except 3:30 p.m. realize you haven’t peed all day and cry a little from the relief when you finally do…teachers have iron bladders!
