United States Secretary of Education, Betsy DeVos paid a visit today to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, where an ex-student killed 17 students and teachers, less than a month ago. As students returned to school for the first time today, the controversial U.S. Secretary of Education was said to have simply walked around the school for an hour petting comfort dogs, shaking hands, and avoiding any serious questions from students and faculty, about what changes will be made to make sure this never happens again. Student journalists from the school said they followed her around the school and don't understand why she came.

"It was a publicity stunt, really. There was no point to it,” Alyson Sheehy, an 18-year-old yearbook editor told the press. “I kind of expected that to happen, but it’s still frustrating that she made the trip out here and made it a big deal but didn’t do anything.

Here's what others are saying about her "stunt" of a visit, on Twitter.
